As a mark of commitment and strive towards ensuring justice delivery in Bayelsa State, the Chief Judge of the State, Hon. Justice Kate Abiri made her maiden visit and inspection of the courts within the state in a bid to ensure proper justice delivery system.
On the 13th of January, 2014, the Hon. Chief Judge made a visit to the Ogbia Magisterial District which is composed of Oloibiri and Kolo Magistrate Court.
With respect to the court of records within the state, the Hon. Chief Judge paid a visit to the High Court of Justice, Ogbia on the 13th of January, 2014.
The Hon. Chief Judge did not relent in her effort as she embarked on yet another fruitful visit to Magistrate Court sitting at Okolobiri and Okorida/Zarama/Biseni as well as Sagbama Magisterial District and Kaiama Magisterial District on the 16th of January, 2014.
The first phase of the CJ’s visit was crowned with a visit to High Court of Justice sitting at Sagbama, Ekeremor and Kaiama on the 16th of January, 2014.
Hon. Justice Kate Abiri admonished judicial officers and staffs on the need to provide quality justice administration as efforts will be made to provide a conducive working environment towards dispensation of justice.
Other jurisdictions yet to be visited includes: Oporoma Magisterial District, Nembe Magisterial District, Brass Magisterial District and Ekeremor Magisterial District.
